About The Author:

Kenneth Blum, Ph.D., C.A.P., Research Professor, University of North Texas, Department of Biological Sciences, Retired Professor, University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. Dr. Blum has published over 300 scientific articles in professional journals and has written and edited several books. He developed the Brain Reward Cascade, Reward Deficiency Syndrome (RDS) and is the discoverer of the first gene associated with addictive and compulsive behavior.

Jay M. Holder, DC, C.A.P., is the first American physician to receive the the Albert Schweitzer Prize in Medicine from the Albert Schweitzer-Gesellschaft, Austria. He is President of the American College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders, Adjunct Professor, St. Martins College, Milwaukee, former Faculty, University of Miami, Center for Addiction Studies and Education. He is Founder/Medical Director of Exodus Addiction Treatment Center, and in his 22nd year of chiropractic practice. Dr. Holder lectures extensively in his field, has published many scientific papers in professional journals, contributed to books and is co-founder of Torque Release Technique.
